The mall’s name change in Back to the Future

Back to the Future is one of those nostalgic movies, especially for people who grew up in the 80s. It’s a great story about a young man who befriends a literally mad scientist, who happens to own a time-traveling DeLorean. Classic stuff. Those who’ve watched it many times may still have missed a very subtle detail.

If you stop at the two scenes where Marty crouches by the mall sign, you’ll notice the name changes from Twin Pines Mall to Lone Pine Mall. This is because Marty collided with one of the trees, causing the name to change in the future. It’s a small continuity detail, but one that leads us to delve even deeper into the plot details.

End of “Lift” from Dirty Dancing

Dirty Dancing is a classic! The ’80s movie has been ranked as one of the best movies of all time. Who could forget that ending? The entire movie is builds up to the final dance scene being aptly choreographed to the song “ Time of My Life ”. If there’s only one thing you remember about the movie, it’s likely the way the dancer was elevated at the end.

ADVERTISEMENTS

Although the scene is paused while viewers try to replicate it, we have to warn against trying this at home. This little trick here seems easy to do, but it takes a lot of training to do it right. If you want to try this, make sure you take some dance classes and get your muscles ready!
